Rose Ann - The Vessel
LMS Excursions is the perfect choice for sea anglers who want to experience the thrill of catching a wide range of local fish in the pristine waters of South Uist.
With the expertise of our experienced skippers and crew, as well as the comfort and convenience of our spacious vessel, you will find that you can explore various locations to fish with ease and efficiency.
We offer trips to locations that are known for Skate, Mackerel, Cod, Pollock, Wrasse, and more. Our skilled crew know the best spots to find these fish, and with varying depths, you can tailor your fishing experience to suit your preferences.
The vessel has a side-door for easy access and onboard you will find all the necessary amenities for a comfortable and successful fishing trip. The vessel is equipped with a live bait tank and an extensive Simrad system with multi-function displays. The heated cabin is also available for respite should you need it, with a comfortable seating and a tea and coffee station for warm beverages.
Our boat is licensed to accommodate up to 12 anglers with 2 crew members. It has two hobs, a mini oven and grill, and a private on-deck manual flushing toilet. All of these features ensure a comfortable and enjoyable experience while fishing aboard the Rose Ann.

Donald Currie, your skipper, has a deep passion for the sea and its offerings, which stems from many family generations of fisherman and his upbringing in Lochboisdale. He has a profound understanding of the area, having fished the seas around Lochboisdale since his early years and worked in the fishing industry in later years.
Donald also holds the esteemed position of Lochboisdale Harbour Master. His extensive knowledge of the waters and wildlife provides you with the best opportunity to witness the breath-taking scenery and wildlife the area has to offer.
